Where do I park at Shenandoah Baptist Church?

We have two separate parking areas. There is parking on both sides of the church with special guest and handicapped parking in the larger (main) parking lot.

 

How long is the worship service?

A typical worship service lasts just about an hour and fifteen minutes. Sometimes the service will run longer for special events, invited guests, or other reasons and, other times, worship may finish earlier.

 

What time should I plan to arrive for worship service?

We suggest that you arrive about 5-10 minutes prior to the start of service. This allows time for you to enter the worship center, find your choice of seating, and prepare yourself for worship. We understand you cannot always arrive this early and are glad to have you worship with us no matter what time you arrive!

 

What is the worship service like?

Our typical worship service includes announcements, worship through song, a message from God’s Word, and ends with an invitational time where you can spend time with God in seeking direction for your life. In our worship songs, we seek a “Blended” style as we have both traditional hymns and some more contemporary Christian songs each Sunday morning. Occasionally, we include Southern Gospel styled music as well.

 

Is there somewhere I can take my young child during the service?

Yes, we have a nursery for the youngest in our church family. Our time with these little ones – newborn through age three – is spent singing songs, engaging them in play, and teaching simple lessons about our Lord. This ministry allows parents to worship and learn about the Lord during this time.
