Wesley C. Griffin Wednesday Night Bible Study Teacher Born and raised in Texas, Wes is the third son of a Methodist Minister. He graduated from Uvalde High School, and entered the US Navy in 1972. Wesley married his high school sweetheart Jan Matthews in 1975, and attended the University of Texas Architecture School after being honorably discharged. Wesley received degrees in Architecture and Architectural Engineering in 1981. Wesley worked for the firm of Don Tew Architect after graduating, receiving his license to practice Architecture in 1984. Wes and Jan joined Hyde Park Baptist Church in Austin and made their home in Cedar Park, North Austin, and now in Liberty Hill. Wes formed a firm with his business partner Dan Jacobson in 2005, and continues to enjoy providing architectural services to schools and churches in Central Texas. Wes and Jan were active members of Hyde Park Baptist during the seventies and eighties, Church of the Hills in the nineties, and have been active at Fellowship Church of Liberty Hill since 2000. Wes has served as a Deacon, Elder, and Connect Group leader at Fellowship. |
